You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Need to drop off a car at the East coast (leave it there for 3 days) before we drive across to the West coast to do the C2C. Where is easy to find/safe in the area. There looks to be side of the road parking at Ravenscar (at the end of the railway line trail) - has anyone used that?
Have contacted the Trailways cycle hire as Hawsker, but no response.
Any otherplaces worth checking out?

The car park at the top in Robin Hoods Bay is fine Labelled as station car park on the map. Ringo shows you can stay up to 7 days. Don't recommend cycling to the bottom as it's ridiculously steep. Leave the bikes at the car and walk is way easier and there is a handrail if you find the steps in the pavement hard work at the end of your tour.
Parking on the road in Ravenscar should also be OK. I don't think there are any parking restrictions. Might be polite not to park on the square by the old station or directly outside the houses but the road is wide and has no through traffic.
You can also park on Larpool lane near the graveyard in Whitby just off the cinder track. We've done overnight trips to Boggle Hole from there with no problems.
I used to live in RHB. Leaving a car in either of the council car parks, Station Road or Bank Top, would be fine. You might even get lucky and get a space on the free parking just past St Stephen's church on Thorpe Lane.
Thanks all - much appreciated!
