Hi

Would anyone know if this is/should be OK on a road bike?

http://streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?x=283315&y=276310&z=120&sv=283315,276310&st=4&ar=y&mapp=map.srf&searchp=ids.srf&dn=577&ax=283315&ay=276310&lm=0

Thanks
Paul

Depends on your mood. Its mostly broken tarmac with rubble in the centre.
Have ridden a loaded touring bike south to north with no problems.

Pretty steep if I remember? Only ever come down on the MTB though and never thought about using a road bike on it.

You might have to push a few sections, but overall should be OK for the most part.

When I rode it I thought it would be great for some cheeky down hill/4x. Its a vehicular RoW. So lift up, to the top from the south. Race down to the river, lift up the steep tarmac then mega fast race down to Llangurig. Turn around and uplift the downs from above and race the old ups. Totally antisocial but what a crack with a large group 😆

Excellent! Thanks for the replies.

Will take a rain check before I take the OH along there 😉
