As above, I'm about to buy some Deores from CRC, and the website buying option include a choice of with or without olives?
What do I need? Whats the difference?
Thanks

I would get with. You are probably going to need to shorten the hoses.

Get a bleed kit while you are at it. People will tell you you can shorten hoses without a bleed kit, but of the four I have done, I have had to bleed one.

Olives are the fittings used to terminate the hoses .

Like he ^^ said you'll prob need to shorten the hoses.

Obviously if you can get a great deal 'without' then buy olives somewhere else or separately!

Depends if you think you'll need to shorten hoses or not and what the price difference is. An olive and insert kit is 2.50 per brake.
