Managed to get a decent ride in last night up the wyre. It's changed so much since I rode there last some of the trails are very different to last time.

Met loads of people up there, Almost as busy as cannock.

I saw my first fat bike in the flesh and also a cube battery powered bike.

Anyone else up there last night ??

Nope it was Matt grey. There was a chap on an old school blue enduro. Also saw a lad on a lime green orange 5.

I got caught out by the fact the bridge has gone from camber !!

That is a nice bike by the way.

Yes, I get full compression on my rigid fork & let out an "ooooph" every time I try to hit it fast enough to get up the other side

Tuesday night is the busy night up the Wyre these days... Several groups I know of all ride out on Tuesday, and if I've got time spare to ride it, it's usually on a Tuesday evening.

Last couple of times I've been up there on a Sunday it's been like a Ghost town however!

I took a wrong turn off the bottom of what used to be called the "garlic" run and ended up following a track parallel to a stream that brought me out by a bridge over it that had rope swings over the stream too. Never ever seen that before ?

You have been absent for a while - the camber bridge disappeared a couple of years ago!
