I’ve started to strip down some mk4 Penthouse pedals and am stuck.

The outer bushing and bearing came out easily enough using a slim socket as a drift but I can’t work out how to get the inner bush (crank end) out.

I've whacked it as hard as I dare in both directions and it won’t budge. It looks like the bush butts up to another tube which sits more to the middle of the pedal, is this right? If so does this need to come out at the same time?

Any tips appreciated, ta.

You have to prise (i.e. break) it out with a screwdriver. It will need replacing anyway!

Yep as a bove I just chipped it away with a flat head screw driver till it pinged out. It’s in the kit so all good. Cleaned and greased verything up afterwards and your away.

Ah, smack it ‘til it breaks. I can do that!

Thanks, I can order the kit knowing I’ll be able to fit it now.
