Do they work OK? They seem close to the crank, looks like enough clearance, but wondering if anyone has tried it?

We do with X0 cranks, have to put an extra washer on them to stop them catching, have to do the same with Specialized Boomslangs

Ours turn fine without the boots, its once the boots are fitted they catch. What cranks are you using.

Yeah another user with X0 cranks and the supplied washers. They are very low profile to the crank so as long as you are happy with that pedalling position they are great.

I love mine.

Yes, they're fine. Mated to sixc cranks with booties.

If that was directed at me, new style SLX and last years XT both with boots and no washers.

No way I could run my Syntace Number 9s with boots however regardless of washers.
