Recently bought a Burgtec ring for my non boost XT M8000 1x, really nice chainring but it's practically given me a boost chainline, forcing me to use chainring spacers. They lack the 4 raised sections like the snaggletooth, uberbikes and various others. Anyone else using one or know why they've balls it up.
I'm using one and I've never noticed it giving me a boost chain line. When I get a chance I'll take a photo of mine to let you see. Silly question but have you got it mounted the right way?
Knew I'd get that one, yes, I'm quite competent, I even build my own wheels. The last ring was an Uberbikes oval 32 (didn't like it). I swapped over, didn't even need to remove cranks, but it fouled my oneup guide so I'm using chainring washers as I know the guide is set to the correct line, swapping from Uber or snaggletooth or Superstar raptor to Burgtec will give you the same problem, Blackspire and Oneup correct chainline to 49mm making the difference even greater.
