Looking at options for Easter holiday with the wife and kids. Did Finale in October and it was frankly amazing, but for some reason I've put Mallorca on the table as another option. I've been a few times to climb but never for biking.
Mallorca looks to be about £600 more expensive based partly on the assumption that we'll need to pay for more guiding/uplift due to the general "get orf my land" approach that pervades the island. Was speaking to malorcaMTb bloke and he said self guiding on Mallorca is not a good idea (but then he would wouldn't he)
Give me your tales of awesome mountin biking in Mallorca, especially if it involves maps and trailforcks instead of paying 200 euros a day for guiding.

I can't help feeling that it's a stupid question. Finale is demonstrably amazing, and really geared up for biking. Mallorca..........?
Finale without a doubt.
I've got a place in Mallorca,so obviously like the place,but in terms of mountain biking finale is on a different planet.
If you've got bored of finale then by all means do Mallorca,but it won't be as good.
Mallorca could be as good as finale,but so far it just hasn't been 'developed' in terms of trails and uplifts to compete.

That's the thing, she was recovering from an OP at the time and didn't actually do a huge amount, and certainly not "all" of it.
She seems set on something new, so I'll widen the search to mainland Spain as well.
The problem is the cost. I need somewhere with uplift without guiding. Otherwise it just gets soon expensive. Finale was fairly unique in that respect as far as I can see?
Finale for sure. i would imagine it would take 6 months to find half the trails, so one visit isn't enough. Im going back in April 😁

We have been a few times. Usually for the EWS Enduro. One of my favourite places to ride. Will be going back for a week at the end of the season for a week after the Swiss EWS. Would be a shame to miss it being so near.
We always use Freeride Finale for tours and uplifts. They have never let us down.

Also have a place in Mallorca and have done Bunyola with a guide, it’s great fun, glad I did it, not been back a second time. Roadie stuff is amazing, MTB not so much. Stuff around arta more fun...
