Looking to downsize my bike collection, and looking to get rid of my CX bike and road bike and get ONE bike (gravel, if you like) with the following desirables:
Fast
fairly light / appraoching decent (1200 off the peg) road bike weight
Disk brakes (pref hydraulic)
Tabs to mount mudguards and a rack at a push
More road than CX geometry
Take up to 28c or 32c at a push tyres.
Would contemplate getting a Chinese carbon frame /fork and building up with s/h stuff off the classifieds, and getting hydraulic disk brakes instead of cable ones.
So, what would you spec / recommend?
