I could probably get a Merida Big Nine Limited on cycle to work and the choice of that looks like the best bet but are they any good?

Merida Nine

Another option I've looked at is getting one on interest-free and I've nailed it down to these 3 if I choose that option. But would be interested to hear opinions on the Merida first.
The 3 are the Specialized Chisel Comp the Scott Sclae 950 and the Trek Procaliber 6
I like the looks of the Treks de-coupler frame for a bit of comfort. Any one get any experience of the any of the suggested?

Bottom bracket fitting? -- press fit or threaded
Fork manufacturer? -- Rockshox / Fox / Manitou

Long term for me it's more about having a decent frame to build on. Not to fussed on 11 or 12speed, as for BB I've experienced both and happy servicing them both.
