As title really, looking for some road shoes and pedals on a low budget. Something along the lines of the Agu Rhy or Torquay shoes (£15, £20) from Planet X but for road?
Do all road pedals only allow you to clip into one side?

I think the cheap ones will as that is normal. The likes of speedplay may be different. It really isn't a problem as you don't clip in and out very often. If you are (for example commuting through a city) then consider Mtb shoes as the XC ones are probably as good for that sort of thing.
Shimano will be your best bet. All their pedals work and they have shoes to suit most budgets.
