Hallo! I want to buy a jacket, mostly for off bike like walking to pub, preferably light softshell.

The likes of regatta.

Is there any other brand /Eshop to look at?

The Decathlon own brand stuff is very good.

I've been abusing one if their softshells for about 5 years now, and it still looks amazingly good.

i've just replaced my decathlon bionnassay softshell after about 7 (8?) years with one of these from sports pursuit

was tempted by the equivalent from decathlon, but thought the fjern one looked a bit better (£20 more of course)

You will get a decent one from Screwfix for under £30

Have a look at Keela Lynx

They're a UK brand and they make good kit. Usually available below the RRP at online shops.

Thank you for your responses.

I would like one colored, and especially black.

Had a madison for years, awesome jacket.

Regatta/Dare2B/Craghopper softshells are usually decent enough. Have a look in TK Maxx, they usually have a decent selection, cheap enough.

That Decathlon hiking 3 layer jacket is almost as good as Madisons (quality and fit very similar) top of the range jacket for half the price. It's not plastered with ridiculous branding, back slapping, high-fiving, advertising hoarding, arse wipery either!

None of my Madison kit has any of that shit, just very well made stuff, at a great price, and with a warranty and customer service that isn't bettered by any other brand...

But do carry on.

No neither did mine, that's why I bought them! Doesn't seem stop others though does it?

All my waterproof Madison gear has been refunded under warranty or replaced due to failure of average quality components.

Good luck with yours.

Good luck with yours

Given that I've been using Madison kit for years, I'm sure I've pretty much tested most of it out by now.

Ta.

The problem with decathlon, is it doesn't dispatch to my country.

Any other options?
