Hey guys, looking to get a budget wheelset for a new build i am putting together. I am about 200-220lbs with gear so no lightweight here, and il be doing enduros on them. Saw these Pacenti DL31/EL Guapo Rattlesnake on planet x that seem a good deal. Also wheels need to be XD compatible for Eagle.

Any other good deals around?

Ordered recently quite some custom wheels from actionsports.de

https://www.actionsports.de/en/wheels/custom-wheels/mtb-disc-650b-27-5/

Beside all kind of rims they have an own brand - called "FunWorks". To my knowledge: these are nearly the same rims as PACENTI.

Check their configuration page if you like. Custom wheels from 80 bucks to xxxx ...

With my recent bikes I went for DT 370 and FunWorks 25 mm rims.

The next bike will get the same hubs but wider (FunWorks) rims.

Superstar had some on sale the other week. Discount code was 'BARGAIN' - might be worth having a look. I got some off there for £125.

using actionsports.de to build up a set of dtswiss 370 hubs. Thanks for the website 🙂 Ive the front on the way with a 29mm internal rim. What i am curious about is what sort of tyre clearance the cube stereo and the manitou mattoc pro 2 will have.

Id be hoping to put a 2.4 - 2.5 on the front and maybe a 2.3 - 2.4 on the back

Used 27.5 Hope evo 2 wheels with e.g. WTB rims or whatnot. I paid 150 GBP for a PAIR of perfectly straight perfectly working ones.

I bought some Shimano WH-MT500 27.5" wheels from bike-discount for my daughters bike build last month. Came in at about £110 with postage. Well built and around 2k the set.

However I'm not sure if they can be xd hub compatible being shimano (and they are centerlock).

I've ordered a set of these built with Ryde trace 29 rims for just under 300euro, weighing under 1800g too so not bad.
