I know there are a few brooks saddle users on here and i'm after a bit of advice really......
Was out the otherday on a road ride and my trusty b17 narrow saddle rail sheared. To be honest the saddle doesn't owe me anything i bought it second hand some time ago and its stamped on the underside leather 'A91' which i assume is the year of manufacture (can anyone clarify?). I seem to remember brooks had a lifetime warranty but now that selle italia own them it seems to be 2 years, is this correct? All it really says on the website is take it back from where you purchsed it with proof of purchase and the retailler will replace, odviously cant do this, i sent an email but alas no reply! i just really want it fixed and if it costs me then fine, any ideas? suggestions?

warranty wont extend to the second owner.
there's a chap who does Brooks repairs. Find the number for 'the bicycle workshop' in London and they'll point you in the right direction. Price was very reasonable and quick turnaround when I used him.
