Went out for a blast on my road bike last night and, 6.49 miles from home, heard a ping, then a series of clongs and decided to stop quickly. I very quickly identified a broken spoke (what with it flapping around and missing the last bit that hooks into the hub).
I'm using the road bike a lot at the moment and need it fixed and, whilst I have swapped spokes myself in the past, I am by no means an expert at it. I'd rather not mess up my bike by doing a shonky job, so can anyone recommend a decent LBS near Cambridge that has a good rep for wheel building? Either that, or is someone near Cambridge an expert in wheel building that could drop by and teach me how to do it?
