You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Well that was better than I hoped. 17 days ago my fibula was very broken and dislocated and in a right old mess.
Today was my first back at the fracture clinic since the accident. Cast off, examination, all looking good 😀
Walking boot on and mobility exercises to do. Physio this arvo at Fit4physio courtesy of @steveh recommendation. Light weight bearing and get on with it. Hopefully back on the spanners in a couple of weeks 😀 bike after 28th August. The NHS are absolutely fantastic 😀😀
Brilliant news - are you going to spray the plaster to match the bike in the other thead? 🙂
Great news, i was non weight bearing for 6 weeks, and I’ve made a full* recovery, so you should be better than me.
*probably 95% if im honest, but i can do all the things i was able to do before it.
Thats great news, you wont find a better physio in Sheffield. He worked wonders on Abigale to get her back in time for the EWS season a couple of years ago. The doctor at the Northern General was also first class, think he did a bit of MTBing, and discussed all the pros and cons of racing the season knowing full well she would be going.
@tracey everyone I've dealt with at the northern general has been a biker or climber, ace bunch and so understanding of how important it is to get back stronger
Excellent 🙂
Well an hour into physio and I was stood weight bearing on my leg 😀 also green light for light turbo sessions
