Tried my card for the first time in Halfords and the lady at the till said I needed the app so she could scan a barcode.
I can't find an app. Is she fibbing ,what goes on?
You need to log on to the BC website and download the voucher. They can scan it off your phone though

But the English heritage one can be used for anything and seems to be able to be found via a Google search. Never yet been asked for membership card (which I do have).
Different for each organisation offering benefits isn't it.
