Just added a long awaited addition to the bike shed. Not n+1 this time...

I had an instant electric water heater lying around (as you do) and so rigged it up in the shed with an external connection for the stand pipe hose. Not quite a power shower, but a nice splash of hot water after coming in off the hills at night will stop me traipsing mud all the way through the house.

An outdoor hosing off area?
After the first time getting the gear off and having a shower in the detached garage in a house we lived in only to realise there was no towel or clean clothes it got a lot less use 🙂

Also nothing better than warm water for bike washing

Bottle opener, hammer, shower. Sounds like a fun night.

Like it OP.

My missus has me hosing offmy legs and half stripping outside already,so mid-winter won't be fun, I was mulling over fitting one of those £50 showers you get at wickes in some sort of lean-to...

The ideal setup would accommodate bike washing too, anyone do a shower enclosure big enough for a bloke and a bike... Although getting naked soapy and wet with my bike might be a bad idea...

See point about remembering to replace the towel and dry clothes before heading out
