if you've never been do the Gorlech first. The red and blue.

The Raven is a let down imo.

Just spent the weekend there. Red green and blue all fine. The odd puddle but nothing bad. Strangley the last bit of black near the car park was dusty and slipped on the berm.
if its hot take plenty of water the fire road climbs on the red can be a heat trap.

Top bit of the Raven is closed off at the moment due to clearing larch.
(People are still riding it evenings and weekends, allegedly).

Up green and blue then down black combination works well.

Balck is the best and the climbs suck and there is a lot of fire roads but the descents and slatey corners are well worth it

Raven sucked when I did it. Some nice descents but way too much uninteresting and punishing climbing for little reward. Some love it though. If you ride for punishing climbs and extreme fitness reasons then maybe it's for you. It's really the only reason it's a black grade.

Worst bit I found was long slog up a section and then it went down for ages, on a fire road! Wasted height on a fire road, with plenty of missed opportunity for trail just off the side.
