Anyone rode Brechfa or Afan in the last week?
How are the trails?
Any particular one I should ride or avoid?
Going over the weekend.
I've not ridden Brechfa before, but intending to ride Penhydd (sp?) and The Wall @ Afan.
Brechfa last Friday...
Was at Afan last week, but they're fine year-round. Haven't been to Brechfa in a few months but the only time the trails down there are less than perfect is Autumn when there's a lot of leaf litter that coveres the rocks and roots and can cause a few 'holy shit' moments but it's a laugh.
Brechfa's fine, I was out last night. Little bit muddy on some parts of the black, but that's par for the course 🙂
And The Shed will be open in Byrgwm car park 11 - 5 Sat and Sun selling their excellent burgers and cake!
Cheers for the info guys, it's been nearly two years since I've ridden anything in Wales, looking forward to it. Weather looks alright too!
