Anyone had any experience of brazing on 531 forks? Specifically adding disc mountings onto 531c. Yes I could buy some new forks but finding them in 1" is tricky. The brazing skills are not an issue not is the kit, more interested in the results. Maybe I could Tig them? Any one done it?

i realy wouldn't!

I'm guessing they'r off a roadie frame? Even if they'r not they wont have been designed to handle the force form a disk brake. The force is about 5 times greater at the calliper than at canti mounts (not accounting for the face that disks will put even more force as well) , and it twists the fork arround.
