I bought a 150mm Brand-x dropper from Crc. Works great but the saddle twists by a couple of degrees. Is this normal for them or have I got a faulty one?
My brand new one has a bit of wiggle
It's normal for BrandX, my OneUp does it too.
Mine has probably 1 degree of rotation in either direction. Thought it would drive me crazy but once sat on it, I've never noticed.
If it's normal I'll get on with it and ride 😊 first time with a dropper. Looking forward to not stopping at the top of a trail to drop the saddle 😊
Thanks guys
Yes you can wiggle it, just a little bit.

👏👏👏
Mine does the same. Tiny bit of movement. I can’t feel it move when riding.
Slight derail, but it’s my first dropper, had it a few months but only had a few rides before my knee exploded, transformed my riding. The dropper post that is.
@binners carefully chosen radio edit there 😉
@steve_b77 - I was going to post up the original, but thought.. 'best not' 😉
I have a Brand X and a Fox Transfer, they both do it, slightly more on the brand x

Mind blown in 3-2-1....
I had a failed dropper (cable snap) at the start of a quick 2hr trail centre blast last year. It was horrid and I was so out of shape on all of the features. Droppers are ace.
Currently in my garage, there's a Red Cycles dropper (cheapo) - no movement
2 Brand Xs - one slightly more wobbly than the other
A X-Fusion Manic - no movement
and a 9er Carbon post - no movement (weirdly!)
Had a Reverb before and that had the highest wobble to drop ratio
Really really pleased with my Brand X Descend.
Have had two reverbs, which were fine but expensive, hard work on the thumbs, impossible to service and ended up developing sag and wobble issues as they were early models, which then cost money to get fixed.
Ive got a low cable descend, which is super neat on my non stealth routing frame, compared to the top hose entry Mk1 Reverb,
Oh, and yes, it rotates ever so slightly, but it makes no difference.
On another note regarding movement, if I can sit on my saddle, mounted on a Brand-X / Canon Iridium post for 7 to 8 hours and not worry about it, them I'm sure the movement is nothing to worry about.
