I fitted the above in 27.2mm to my steel hardtail yesterday. Went for a towpath ride and it felt as though the saddle was moving underneath me.
When i examined it I see rotational play and fore/aft play in the shaft?
Is this normal for brand x?

small amount of rotational play is fairly standard in dropper posts, fore/aft not so much.

the 27.2 post does flex a fair bit, and has a little wobble. but clunky fore/aft movement it should not have.
