With travel at 120mm everything works fine. If I wind it out to anything above 120mm and compress it then there's a pop and it collapses with a "clang" down to 120mm again.
Obviously a warranty job but I'd like to be able to tell them what's wrong to shorten the process. Anyone know?
Cheers

Oh dear - Lots of folks on MTBR with identical problem. Seems to be a generic fault on the '10 U-turns and Rockshox don't seem to have got a handle on fixing it yet....
Hmmm, best get using mine to see if this rears its head. How many hours have you used yours for?
I fitted my forks and they failed on the first "pump", still in the garage. Most of the people on Mtbr report the same. If yours are still going after several hours then you maybe OK. Most worrying is that some people had their forks replaced and suffered a further failure.
Cheers. I've only ridden mine once round a lap of Whites at Afan, but they were fine so fingers crossed.
