Thinking of changing my trusty old Mono M4's to possibly M4 Race front / X2 Race rear
Worth doing or no real difference?
Are the X2's up to 15 stone bloke duties (mainly cross country but occasionally get to the Alps)?
thanks
I have race x4 front and race x2 rear on my enduro and been fine for everything I've tried. But I don't play on full on dh tracks and I'm a good amount lighter.
One finger locks the front wheel with ease
I've got m4s 180,160 I'm heavier than you n they stop mint, now!, however they didn't used to,so maybe get them bled & set up,change the pad material & keep them, mine are better now than when I got them,no question.
I had a Tech M4 / X2 combo once. If buying again I'd just get X2's & a big rotor up front.
Not much real difference. Would probably be worth giving them a full service with new seal and fluid, new pads and perhaps new rotors if they are a few years old. The race levers do look prettier though ...
