Evening All,
So its time I replaced my brake pads (Shimano B01S) and the book says to only replace with resin pads. Being a bit tight, I was going to opt for some cheaper Superstar pads. So if I go with non resin pads, Sintered, Kevlar or Organic is this going to damage the rotor?
Your words of wisdom greatfully received.
It'll be fine.
It won't matter once the pad material falls off......
😉
Brake pad choice really depends on your type of riding and your usual riding weather conditions etc. if you're in the UK, riding in damp, sometimes muddy conditions, then resin pads don't last five minutes.

SS Kevlar are superb and won't melt your rotors
