Someone (some Animal 😁)putting the pads in back to front at some point ?
That's my assumption
May be incorrectly installed with pad material against pistons at first. Mistake was realised due the horrific noise!
Just bought the bike ? Or was it you ?
If you turn them round when they’re worn you get double the value?
Looks like they've had it all, put in backwards, used on a too small rotor and used in a badly aligned caliper. Have the pistons survived the abuse unscathed.
This is the start of tomorrow's job, customers pads
Pads installed from new, it's on a norco, Evans?
Will need new rotors!
Will need new rotors!
Definitely this. Speaking as someone who has had a rotor shear, I can say this is a must.
Luckily I had done most of the stopping when the braking surface was cut in half....
