Took my front wheel of to put the bike in my car earlier today. When I went to put it back on the disc brake wouldn't fit back in between the brake pads as the seemed to close up. In the end managed to get it on but when I spin the front wheel it slows down quicker than normal as I think the pad is touching still. How do I resolve this?? Also what caused it??
Push pistons back with a tyre lever or large flat bladed screwdriver, refit wheel and pump brake several times. Sorted!
It was caused by the brake lever being pressed with the wheel out and the pistons moved inwards.
Thanks mate, must have depressed the lever when in the car as it was wedged in!!
Thanks
