Hi guys,

I bought a new set of reba forks and at the time some new shimano SLX discs with a 180 mm rotor for the front.

I got them all from Merlin, I asked the guy what adapters I needed and they have sent through an IS 180 mm which I can't see that I need it because it looks like it is post mount on the forks. Can anybody confirm this? Also I can't get fit in the 180 rotor, I guess it needs some sort of spacer to move the caliper back a tad, is this right?

thanks in advance.

Chris

AFAIK forks come ready for 160 and frames ready for 140 so you need a 160/180 pm/pm adapter - but someone will be along soon to agree or correct me !

I think the post mounts are both 160mm without mounts. Get a shimano 180mm post to post adapter. Will work on the back for 180mm disc as well if you choose to run it back there.
Just done this for a mate on his new FF29'er
