New to road bikes and need advise on replacing Tektro callipers.
I have Shimano 105 shifters, my question is can I use any 105 or ultegra brake calipers?

Was there a mounting point standard change? Best way to a quick answer post the bike you have and a pic (link to the spec should help) - also Hydro? are they hydro levers or a through a cable conversion? May need new shifters too

Probably 😕
Shimano publish compatibility tables (link). They do them for different product years, scroll down to find brake systems. ST/BL is the lever part code and BR the brake

I'll try to find the actual model number of the shifters and use the guide
Rode a mates bike with 105 calipers and the difference was night and day..

Sorry to hijack the thread, and tbh, can't really help with your question, but I've got a pair of new calipers (5800 I think but would have to check) that was gonna put up for sale. Let me know if you're interested.
