I'm just in the middle of swapping my 2 pot m8000 xt caliper with the 4 pot m8020 one however the bolt to connect the hose is too long - what do I need?
Assuming it's the same as a Saint or Zee caliper this is what we had to use to convert XT 2 pot to Saints

Yep, good old SJS Cycles! Thanks Tracey. Have ordered one of those.
I bought a couple of SLX M7100 callipers a while ago and had some BH90 hose to use. The newer Shimano callipers have the banjo on the righthand side and need a bolt about 1/3 of the length of the old style bolt supplied with the BH90.
Fortunately the correct banjo bolt was supplied with the calliper; I'd assumed that this was always the case, but perhaps not.
I triple checked the box that the caliper came in but no bolt to be found.
None of ours came with banjos
