Where do normal people get them? I used to work in a lab where they were 10 a penny allong with any diameter of tubing you could dream up, where do you get them from if you don't work in a lab?

Cheers, got some off ebay now.

The yellow plastic funnel for shimano brakes, are they all the same, i can only see ones advertised for the M575 brakes which look like a funnel with a tube under it, whereas the ones shopwn in the instructions look like a funnle with a stick in it (presumably acting as a 1 way valve?).

Got mine from ebay along with some leur loks and 3mm tubing.

All the funnels are the same. The little stick in it pushes down into the bottom of the funnel when you are finished. It seals the hole at the bottom so when you unscrew it from the lever fluid doesn't pee out of the bottom and all over your bike.

They are designated 575 as that was the first lever to need the funnel, it was the flip-flop type that didn't have a top cap.
