Trying to decide which brakes to get for my specialized enduro s-works 2006 rebuild.

Previously was using a mono 6ti 205mm on front and a mono 4 180mm rear.

Going to need ultimate power, the build has a van rc coil shock and lyrik coil forks so the weight of the brakes not too much of an issue. The bike will be geared more towards downhill & aggressive trail riding than xc riding.

Was originally thinking hope tech evo m4 203 / 183. But now not so sure?

Any of the new Shimano brakes (SLX upwards) 203/180 rotors. Superb levers and an absolute bargain.

Sounds like there is a lot of love for the 2012 XT's..

However I have heard they are a bugger to service and replace seals etc, whereas the hopes are easy peasy

thoughts??

What do people think of XT / XTR / Saint.. Or Formula??
