I just changed rotor size on my front wheel however the adapter i bought was far slimmer than my last one and it means that the brake and the rotor are almost 1cm off. I am mounting it on a 2007 post mount Marzocchi bomber.
Any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks
Alex
Bombers with 20mm axles have an odd spacing, although I thought it only applied to the IS mount forks though. What size are you changing from/too? Simplest solution would be to swap back, but I think hayes, formula and hope made adapters that fit.
IIRC it was originally intended to make fitting adapters easier as to fit a bigger disk to an IS fork required an adapter with a big step in it so that the caliper lined up whereas the marzocchi adapters could be machined from a flat plate.
Thanks for the help. I'm gonna swap back and keep the 203mm up front that looks a bit ridiculous. But at least it will stop me. 🙂
