I’m building up a cheap first ride for my nephew. Mainly using parts bin and donations. I’m hoping I can get the old brakes/fork/frame working together. Now I understand about different mounting systems for the brakes but I don’t seem to be able to find what I think I may need.

Frame - Commencal COMBI Disc
Brakes - Juicy 3
Fork - Manitou Splice Elite

The discs are 160mm so I thought the brakes would fit without adaptors but it seems not. Any ideas what I need. All are post mountings (frame comes with adaptor). The callipers are close to fitting but not quite. Any assistance appreciated.

Are you missing the tri-align washers?

What SR says above. Without those washers the bolts are too long for the mount (left side).

If its very close to fitting you may just find its an inconsistency between manufacturers. Sometimes solved with an extra washer on the mount.

Right, cheers, yeah they look like they would do the job. I don't even have bolts at the moment so I will pick up a kit. Something like this:

I presume?
