Being his usual sardonic, self-deprecating self. Good taste in music though. Starting with the Roses - I am the Ressurection 😀

Reckon we'll get some Weller?

Particularly enjoyed the Rock'n'Roll star pottering around in the kitchen.

On the end of the TdF

Chirac and Hollande were there ... but I wanted to thank the British cycling fans ... not Pinky and Perky
😀

Has anyone else's podcast feed stopped? Not had any new DID episodes come through for over a month. Really missing it!

Should have checked before posting. Wiggo's is in and it's the first I've had for weeks. That'll make tomorrow morning's commute a little less dull.

I enjoyed the programme. He came over as being entirely his own man. Good on you, fella!

What a hero - achieved so much and got so little ego. Wiggo for PM 🙂
Interesting comment he made about his Dad's doping customers...

Great little show , I like the guy and his career has been amazing and has definately done more for British cycling than anyone else. He also picked a pretty flawless playlist with the stand out being the final Bowie track.
My only gripe being that I wished he hadn't came out with the statement he could beat Dowsett's time tomorrow if he wanted to as I think It was a bit disrespectful the day after Alex Dowsett's final hour.

Yes, a bit contentious. He gave the impression that he opens his mouth and whatever happens to be in his head at the time just comes straight out. Definitely warmed to the bloke as a result though. Nice selection of tunes as well.
Edit: I mean Sympathy for the Devil, wasn't expecting that!

The doping comments seem to be a bit of "I know who you are" to a few who may be shouting from their glass houses at the moment. Don't think he has ever not said what he was thinking 🙂

Top bloke from the sound of it and somebody you could sit and enjoy a chat with if you bumped into him somewhere. I hope he smashes the hour record and does something golden down in Rio next year.

I thought he said he wouldn't attempt it if he didn't believe he could beat it. It being the record rather than Dowsets effort.
