Heading down Sat July 7th.

Anyone been down via the HOTV road recently? Went a year ago and there was a massive diversion in place and I believe they’re still doing work...

work still on going, a few of the new fly-overs not operational, and traffic jams back a bit at peak times, but not as badly as it did

Just come back that way today.

It's still a long way from being finished but only one small diversion just off to the side for less than half a mile

Reasonable length of 40mph zone in place though.

Could be completely different in a couple of weeks.

You'll need a 29er for Gilwern roundabout, some sizable holes in that now unless they've filled them since I last went round in the works Land Rover.

If you do get directed off the HOTV for the roadworks, can you please follow the signs and not decide there's obviously a better way down a 25% twisty single track road, and then getting angry with me outside my house for discouraging you from driving towards a road that we both know is closed, thanks.
