I've broken a couple of ribs, right before a three day Wales trip...

Dirt farm have always been helpful and flexible when a similar thing happened before, just gave me a credit note

BPW is a bit more complicated.  Within 48hrs, they apparently offer no changes or refunds.  Does anyone know if that's it? Is there anything else I can do?

I tried calling, presume it's shut today, the phone system sends you round in circles.

I cracked two ribs on my first run last year. They were happy to reschedule my uplift day for a tenner.

IME they're pretty strict on that 48hrs.

The website says they cannot do booking moves/refunds over the phone and to email them... according to their site they should be open today too as it is school holidays (in some areas...)

To move a booking or cancel a booking/request a refund please e-mail reception@bikeparkwales.com, as this cannot be processed over the phone.

We were there last week and my pal wiped out on the first run. Had to go to A&E for stitches. The staff were ace but he wasn't offered a refund (he didn't ask tbf).

They just replied to the email I sent to reception.  Apparently they are willing to ignore the 48hr rule due to the circumstances.  20 % admin fee and I have to give them a new date to re-schedule it to by the end of the day.

Hopefully they have improved. Offered me a reschedule then never replied to any of my requests.

I'm currently having a much better experience re scheduling my dirt farm dates...

I found them really good, i think I gave them something like 15 hours notice 😛 I made an effort, did a nice email, included a pic of me in a sling looking sad, I got a nice "lol of course we can do that, get well soon" email back.

IIRC BPW and Dirt Farm both refunded within their time limits, FOD gave me a gift card for a repeat booking instead.

Dyfi and BPW have rescheduled for me due to injury in the past.

To be fair they must get a lot of people doing this, so you either build it in to the cost of everyones ticket or deal with it as they do
