We have tickets for Donkey Green area of Box Hill for tomorrow's women's RR

Typically, we have left it till now to think about how we get there. Preference is to drive somewhere, park, then cycle or walk to entrance. Can anyone who went to men's race today offer advice

I live in Bookham, easy to park there and ride over to Boxhill via Bridleway or road - but a bit far to walk. Another option is aim for Betchworth and find somewhere to park there - easier walk but harder to park, less people will be watching than today I suppose.

I was there today, without a ticket. It was an hours walk to the hill from the station. It was an hours wait for a train on the way home. We placed ourself at top of hill just outside reserved seating and could see their "big screen"

Get there early, I was on a 7:10 train arriving Dorking at 7:40, a lot of people were camping and had taken the best spots by the time we arrived at 8:30. At that time trains were packed. If any of the stewards try and disused you from using paths / access just let them know you have a ticket.

Access via bike is pretty good, drive and park is a good option, there is parking on site at foot of hill near Betchworth but not sure if you have to pre-book, a lot of one off camping sites have been set up, be prepared to have to park a distance away though just in case.

I suspect the ladies race will be much less crowded, enjoy tomorrow, the atmosphere today was outstanding.
