Planning a wee noisy around Bowhill , but just looking for some advice . Where is best to park are the trails easy to find and what to expect.? I've ridden all the usual Valley spots and can get by all right on most of them.
Thanks for your help folks.

They're as slippery as a slippery thing at the moment.

To not annoy the estate, park behind Selkirk Rugby Ground and cycle over via the river paths and through Philiphaugh. Otherwise just park on the Newark road, next to the signs that say don't park here.

Alternatively, park at Black Andrew, next to the Yarrow trails - and the Bowhill ones are an easy cycle to.

Trails were great , though we only found 3 but all brilliant. You were right about them being slippery though . What a stunning wee place and not to big a hill to do a few times. Illuminati is some trail.

@hopefiendboy I got down early and looked at the rugby club but my pals son is only 11 so I went to the estate and stopped off at the office. Explained i'd never been before but didnt want to be a dick and park where I shouldn't. The estate manager said just park in the main car park as technically due to covid they are closed but he was cool with It. Ill take the family and the dog down when things get to normal and visit the house I think.

Is Illuminati a marked trail? Just that I can only see 2 marked trails on Trailforks!

Nope if you go back ditch trailforks and go on strava , All 3 trails we rode were within 100 yards of each other. 2 head back towards the car park and Illuminati heads the other direction and is in 3 parts.
I think there are a couple other trails in there as well.

Yeah just park in the main car park, I think they'd prefer that at the moment.

Illuminati, "body bag" and the mini DH are all close together. There's some steeper more techy stuff off black Andrew. Look for supreme leader. There's a few interesting trails there.
