Hi All,
daft question perhaps ?..... I have a Race Face evolve XC double crank set, do I need a Raceface or particular BB to suit it, or will any do ?.
Can anyone reccomend any decent cheap ones ?
Any help would be appreciated.

Any external BB, with the exception of Truvativ.
Great thanks Three Fish....it was my mate saying he had to get a special Truvativ BB for his Truvativ crank which puzzled me.

Tell your mate that if he buys a [url= http://www.winstanleysbikes.co.uk/product/25165/Hope_TruVativ_Bottom_Bracket_Conversion_Kit ]Hope/Truvativ adapter[/url], he can use any standard external BB, not just Hope, with his Truvativ cranks.
Race Face have got a pretty poor reputation for BB reliability. I'm sure it's been mentioned here before if you search.
A Hope stainless BB is about three times the price of a Race Face, but will easily last far more than three times as long.
