So,

Is there a rule of thumb as to how many spacers you run and which side?

How have people got their BB and cranks set up?

Cheers

68mm BB 2 DS, 1 NDS
73mm BB 1 DS only.

Assuming its a threaded BB shell like a Shimano HT2?

Yep, standard threaded BB.

I have a 73mm BB shell but have swapped the spacer to the non drive side to get a slightly better chain line as I'm running a 1x10, just wanted get opinions on this as I can't see this being an issue?

The only potential issue I can think of is chain suck, as the cranks are slightly closer to the frame. If it gives you the chainline you want, and you aren't getting any rear shifting issues, personally I can't see it being a problem. More qualified mechanics views may differ though!!

It shifts pretty sweet on the stand but I'll see how I get on at the weekend when I take it out, cheers!

The bike, and you whilst riding it, will be fine but after about a dozen rides, you'll start walking round in right hand circles as your left leg will be slightly longer than your right leg.
