New update gives Gen 5 CX motors more power - but not more power than the proposed new legislation would allow.

Doesn't seem to be any mention of waterproofing? I would rather more effort was concentrated on longevity than ever more power .

It’s a slippery slope. Hopefully all these e-bikes come with grippy tyres.

There is on the Bosch site
. https://www.bosch-ebike.com/en/products/performance-line-cx.
"The housing is made of magnesium – robust, corrosion-resistant, and hard. The sealing concept prevents splash water from entering."

But they've always had that. The power increase is the news here. Also, the "quietness".. that's what I'd want this new version for!

(Anyone else hate the way link always appear like they do on Whatsapp?! Just show the damn text!)

Waterproofing yes, but I’d prefer built as serviceable/repairability, with official tech manuals, etc etc and with spares supplied for at least ??7 years. Allegedly the newer motors are allegedly going to be harder to repair/less repairable as they become smaller and more integrated.
