I see from the Bos manual that after cleaning 2014 Devilles you're supposed to 'slightly lube the stations with a silicon based product'. I'm yet to do this so could someone please recommend what product I should be using?
Cheers
If you have a silicon based chain oil use that or GT85 or one of the specialist fork lubes I think Muc off do one and one called Fork Juice.
DONT USE GT85 FFS
JUICY LUBES DO A FORK LUBE GOOD STUFF
Why not gt85 on forks, I usually put a light film on after a clean, does it do more harm than good?
Sand
I use Brunox Deo because I like the smell and the name. But if I can't find my (tiny) aerosol can of that, I just use standard silicon spray, bought from halfords probably or farnell or something.
I think you probably don't have to be too afraid of GT85, it's very solventy but unlikely to harm the seals. Might get past the seals into the oil bath, I doubt it personally. But there's no reason to take any risks and it'll not be very effective as a lube...
I've always used Fork Juice on mine, and they're trouble free and plush after two years. Sound.
Thanks, think I will order myself some fork juice
