Has anyone had any experience running a 650b wheel in a 26" bos deville fork?

I bought a second hand set from a fella who had done just that. It rubbed a bit of paint off the fork brace but he seemed to think it was fine. He was riding in South Wales with quite a big tyre on as well if I remember rightly. I only ran it with a 26 so can't comment directly. There was quite a lot of room beneath the arch tho,

What wheel/tires are you running?
What is the clearance like?

The 26" and 650 versions were sold with the same lowers for a while. I have a 650 set in the shed, they have a 2.35" Magic Mary on a Hope Enduro rim, and it's a bit too tight for a Marsh Guard, but it works. I can swap the 650 wheel to the 26" ones on my bike and see what it's like, I suspect it's the exact same

Marsh Guard fitted with Maxxis shorty 2.30 on Stans Arch ex rim. Have also had HR2 2.30 no problems either

I have 26inch Devilles on my Rallon with 650b wheels. The 26inch ones are (for that year) the same as the 650b ones. I have a 2.35 Magic Mary on. The clearance is tight and in really claggy mud it can bind up but this happens very rarely. Not ideal though.

Bike was new in 2014 so assume 2014 forks. I don't think they have changed them yet but could be wrong with that?

I had "650b compatible" 26" deville. As said, it would take the larger wheel but I couldn't use a mudhugger guard if it was actually muddy.
