Does anyone know where I could borrow a reasonably quick electric bike from ?

I want to see if its possible to do my commute on one. But its a fairly long commute so I need something that could hit 30mph fairly easily.

Buying something like that would be a fair old investment.

Electric assist bikes are only allowed by law to have a motor that can assist you up to 15mph , after that you are on your own . Buy a lightweight road bike and get fit , you will commute much quicker on that than a 40kg electric behemoth .

Yeah, I've built a few that'll do 30mph+, but they're seriously not road legal. They're also not brilliant on hills - like driving a car in 5th gear all the time.

What you really want is a couple of [url=

jet engines[/url]...

Define "fairly long". And 30 mph "fairly easily" is a scooter.
