I've had Shimano MW7s for years now and wear them pretty much year round. They've just died though on a particularly hike-a-bike experience in the lakes. I'm looking at XM9s as well as a new pair of MW7s.
Anything else I should look at before committing?

I really like my MW5's, but they are way too hot hot half the year!

that might depend on a few factors thou, like geographical location and whether the user is a radiator or a heatsink.
I have awful circulation - mum has Reynaulds syndrome - so feet always cold
My MT91's are looking a bit tired, but still going strong if I'm honest - did a comfy 68k in them at the weekend. Actually done a couple of very muddy festival weekends in them too
I'll be replacing with XM9's at some point
