After suffering with numb toes yet again its time for some winter boots so
Northwave celsius GTX or Shimano MT91 ????
Thanks
I have the Northwave. Combined with SmartWool merino socks, and not over tightening the boots, they've been peachy.
They're utterly filthy at the moment, which reminds me, so's my bike. 😳
Cheers cfh, just done a search and it seems like the Northwaves are the way to go. Oh and go clean your bike 🙂
Just bought some NW Celsius Artic GTX's from bike-discount.de inc delivery for not much over £105
I've only worn them once but WOW!! They are way more comfortable than the Shimano MW80's they replaced. Wore them with a mid Weight sock last night and it was down to -5, toes felt toasty warm all night. They feel nice and snug without being tight, fit is better than Shimano (for me anyway) advice I was given was to get a 42.5 as I'm a UK 8 and they're perfect.
