I have just got a new Boost FS frame. I have some non Boost forks to use, so that part is easy.

I have a non boost rear wheel, so id like recommendations for a rear boost kit for my Hope Pro 2 wheel.

Im going to build it 10 or 11 speed, i have some older 10sp XT NW cranks or some 'boost' cranks i bought in a CRC psa. If i build 10sp, will it all just go together and work, or will there be problems?

Is it a Pro 2 or an Evo? There's a converter kit for the Pro 2 Evo but they don't seem to do one for the Pro 2.

These universal kits are good and bad...

Good in that they work and you don't have to redish the wheel or anything and they're super cheap. Bad as there's an adaptor that has to go on either end of the hub axle so it's kind of a pain in the ass to refit a wheel.

(I've done it both ways, with a full conversion kit and redish, and with these spacers and they both work well but differently- I've stuck with the universal ones though as I have Boost and Nonboost bikes so not having to redish is a big bonus. It's more faff on the trail/in normal use with flats, but less faff overall)

Your worry with a non boost chainset is clearance between ring and chainstay. If that's OK, then no issues.

The hope ones ‘just work’ and would be my first choice if you’ve no chain line issues

The Hope kit I fitted was OK with a non boost crank but gave a terribly rough running drivetrain with a boost crank.
Ended up removing it and just fitting spacers to the brake side and re dishing the wheel.

The Hope kit for the rear (not front) doesn’t need a re-dish.  It spaces both sides by 3mm which is why I opted for the Wolf Tooth kit for my Pro2 Evo and a re-dish.  Pricey for what it is but I hated messing with spacers that I invariably forgot were going to fall out when I removed the rear wheel.

Ive checked and its a Pro 2 Evo SP.

In my current budget state the Hope conversion kit makes financial sense. Having a boost qnd non boost chainset is also giving me options.

Thanks for you help
