Do i need to redish the wheel? Or is there a spacer each side option ?
Official kit needs a redish. Unofficial kits may not.
You need to re-dish ... and it is easy to do so .
Even I managed it ... you need to move the rim about 5mm to the no brake side.
On my wheels that was loosen the brake side spokes by about two turns and tightening up the non brake side by the same. Obviously you need to loosen first ...

Yep 2 basic choices.
1 Re-dish with Hope adapter.
2 As well as using a third party adapter you also use a spacer to reposition the rotor.

I don't get the ones that have different end caps for both ends and require no re-dish - surely the drive side has to stay at the same spacing from the dropout to keep the gears working so you either re-dish or put up with a non-centred rim ??

That we're talking about front hubs where, for the immense majority of bikes, gears aren't an issue 😀 Rear always needs a redish, I believe, for the reason you've figured out 🙂

That's not the whole story though. If you have to pay someone to do the re-dish (i.e. not confident to do it yourself) then that reduces the price difference. Also with the MRP you can quickly revert the wheel back to non-boost, say when you use your spare set of forks while the main ones are serviced.

Rather disappointingly (from my point of view) Hope's own boost kit for the Pro2 Evo rear doesn't require a re-dish, it uses 3mm wider end caps and comes with a couple of 1.5mm disc spacers.
